Working with cancer and oncology is so much more than just knowing what to take, be it medical or naturopathic.  It’s also about learning how to modify your life and perhaps your diet.  It’s learning how to cope with and/or resolve the impact medications, or the cancer itself, has on the body.  It’s learning how to manage the mental impact and the emotions that come with the process.  It’s about learning how to support your body’s ability to heal.  It’s about exploring what treatment options are best suited to you and your individual needs.  There are so many factors to consider that no two situations are the same.

At the Canadian Naturopathic Cancer Clinic in Oakville Ontario the goal is to help you navigate the multitude of choices available for your healing and tailor a treatment plan unique to your individual needs.  To do whatever is possible to support other treatments you have decided to undergo.  To ensure that what you incorporate for your healing is safe to do, for your particular type of cancer, and in combination with your particular treatments/medications.  And to ensure that everything is explained, educating you every step of the way, thus empowering you to play an active role in your health decisions.
